Ayanna Smart, the Dementia Dietitian

Hello Caregiver! I’m Ayanna Smart, a registered dietitian specializing in dementia care. I’m here to make mealtimes less stressful – for both you and your loved one.

Kate S., Ambassador, Dementia Network Calgary

Ayanna gave an excellent presentation on strategies to improve nutrition for people living with dementia to caregivers at our Conversation Café. It was an informal presentation where she talked about the many challenges when feeding persons with dementia. It was well received and had the highest attendance since the café began. Thanks to Ayanna for being a dementia community champion!
